Practical details
The main dish comes in the black „Peaks of your day“ pouch — you put it, unopened, into the heater bag. Fill the heater with water up to the line. Any water works: from your bottle, a river or melted snow, because it never touches the food.
You eat straight from the pouch with the spoon included — no dishes to wash. The pack also contains 60 g of caramelised peanuts with honey and cinnamon and 25 g of chocolate. About 1,000 kcal in total, half a day's calories.
Can I eat it without heating?
Yes. The meals are fully cooked and can be eaten cold. Heating is for taste and warmth.
Can I heat it on a stove?
Yes: bring water to the boil, put the unopened pouch in and heat for 10–15 minutes. Never place the pouch directly on a stove surface or in a microwave.
Is the heater safe to use in a tent?
The heater has no open flame but releases hot steam. Do not open it, keep it away from children, do not microwave it. Never leave used parts in nature.

Do I really not need a stove?
No. Every ration contains a flameless heater that warms up once you add cold water. The water never touches the food, so it does not have to be drinkable.
How many rations per day?
Two are enough at rest, three on the trail with a pack. For hard work in the cold, count four. The calculator at the top of the page works out the exact number.
How do I store them at home?
In a dry room at room temperature. A cellar or a storage room works, just keep them off the floor by an outside wall where damp collects.
Can I order for a company with an invoice?
Yes. Tick “Buying for a company” in the order and enter the company details; we will email the VAT invoice the same day.
When will my parcel arrive?
Orders placed before 16:00 on a working day ship the same day. The parcel reaches an Omniva locker in 1–2 working days.
How long does a ration keep?
48 months from production. The date is printed on every pouch, and on bundle boxes it is marked on the side as well.
